The River Oyster Bar, a sophisticated haunt in Brickell Village, offers a wide variety of fresh oysters and other seafood as well as beef, lamb chops and more. It also has a fine wine list and plenty of specialty brews. The upscale tavern interior makes it a nice and comfy place for family and friends to dine in. Alta Mar
The Alta Mar, located in South Beach, is a quasi-Italian seafood bistro that offers fresh seafood – mostly fish – specials every night. Fish selections number up to over a dozen, with selections of golden tile, yellow jack, wahoo, triple tail and pompano going for about $30. make sure you arrive get in early; the tiny restaurant fills up fast with tables regularly spilling onto the sidewalk patio.
El Carajo International Tapas & Wines
The El Carajo is a delicious surprise hiding behind the Citgo gas station along Highway US 1. The El Caraje offers a plain yet delicious menu which consists of imported sliced meats, codfish fritters, piquillo peppers stuffed with bacalao, chorizo in wine sauce lobster empanadas, gambas a la plancha, and more. Aside from a flavorful menu, the El Cajaro also has a wine list that collectors would envy. Their 1,500 bottles include plenty of Spanish and Italian names. Best of all, El Cajaro is very affordable.
Jaguar Ceviche Spoon Bar & Latam Grill
Jaguar is one of the most interesting places to dine in and hang out if you're into Latin American food. They serve up ceviches in huge white spoons – best paired with the famous Peruvian or Chilean cocktail, Pisco Sour. Or choose your wine from their extensive wine list and pair it with widely diverse menu which is inspired by a number of countries including Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru.
