My Perfect Weekend...
As a graduation treat, my twin sister and I stayed in Miami for the weekend to have a blast. Our parents were so cool. They arranged everything for us, from hotel accommodations to pocket money, basically everything else! They even agreed to let two of our best friends go with us. Maybe this is what you get for graduating with honors, right?

My sister, two friends and I stayed at a really nice hotel, the Sofitel Hotel, located at 5800 Blue Lagoon Drive. It's only 5 minutes from Miami International Airport and also near some great beaches and other attractions. I loved our room. It was big enough for the four of us. The hotel lobby is also very stunning with red leather chairs and some bright paint colors.

It was morning and we wanted to catch the waves in Miami so we went to Miami Jet Ski Rental. It's about 15 minutes from the hotel. When we reached the place, the weather was so hot so we wanted to enjoy the waters right away. The jet skis were awesome but the hourly rental of $99 was way too pricey, I think. Still we tried jet skiing despite the rental fee. It was fun! Besides, we're here to enjoy and have a blast so we thought it was okay to spend. All the water activities made us tired and hungry so we looked for a nearby restaurant and found Bubba Gump. I ordered Prime Sirloin with onion rings and tomato. My twin ate Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp with Cajun Marmalade and Fries. Our friends had the Salmon and Veggie Skillet and Accidental Fish and Shrimp. (All the menu items have these funny names.)

Then we went to Emena Spa, just a four-minute drive if you take Biscayne Blvd. We tried the deep muscular massage, $95 per hour. It was perfect after a day at the beach. Then we tried foot master reflexology pedicure.

The following day was spent shopping, sightseeing and snacking. We went to Dolphin Mall, Lincoln Road, The Falls and Aventura Mall.
